Project Information
Great Rivers Greenway and a collaborative partnership with public and non-profit agencies are developing a Bicycle Master Plan for the St. Louis region.
The plan will cover St. Louis City and County and St. Charles County with a goal of creating a connected system of on-road bicycle facilities over the next several years.
Status:
The Bicycle Master Plan is divided into two phases of work with the first phase started in December 2009.
Currently data collection efforts are underway and a Citizens Avisory Committee (CAC) and a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) were formed in March 2010. Phase One activities are completed and Phase Two activities will begin in the summer 2010.
The first round of public open houses are set for October 13 in Maryland Heights Community Centre and October 14 at the Heights in Richmond Heights. Both events are from 4:30pm to 7:00pm.
