Project Information

The Great Rivers Greenway District is providing matching funds for 1/2 mile trail extension and development of a trailhead at the site of the Lone Elk Archery Range. The trail will be located partially in Lone Elk Park and partially in Castlewood State Park.

Status:
Engineering was completed in 2007 and construction is targeted to begin in 2008.

St. Louis County Parks Department and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks.
