Project Information Great Rivers Greenway provided funds to plan, design and construct approximately four miles of trails within between Gravois and Morganford along the River Des Peres with two dedicated pedestrian bridges. The project connects the River des Peres Greenway to Carondelet Park via a trail on the Christy Greenway in south St. Louis City. In 2007, the district will receive federal funds to continue the River des Peres Greenway southward toward its confluence with the Mississippi River. Status: The project was completed in September, 2005. The extension between Morganford and I-55 will construct in 2008.
