Project Information

St. Vincent Greenway joins the Centennial and River Des Peres greenways in Forest Park. It then continues north to join the future Maline and Coldwater greenways in north St. Louis County. The greenway will extend from NorthPark, through the University of Missouri-St. Louis campus, to Forest Park.

Status:
Planning for St. Vincent Greenway was completed in mid-2005. Trails through University of Missouri-St. Louis and St. Vincent Park have been completed, and construction contracts for UMSL to Marlin Drive, just east of North Hanley, have been awarded.. Engineering on the rest of the greenway from St. Vincent Park southward is ongoing.

Partner(s):
For the planning phase, Great Rivers Greenway partnered with the St. Louis County Economic Council. Additional partners include Metro, St. Louis County Parks, the Metropolitan Sewer District, and many municipalities, particularly the cities of Pagedale, Wellston, and St. Louis.
