Project Information Schematic design for a trail beginning at I-55 and River des Peres and continuing into JB County Park was completed at the end of 2007. This will link the River des Peres and Mississippi River Greenways. For 2008, more detailed engineering will begin for the section of trail along the Mississippi River beginning at MSD and ending in JB County Park. St. Louis County has a federal earmark for funds to be spent for trail development and will partner with the Greenway District on development of this section of trail. Status: Schematic design complete. Engineering phase of development in 2008-2009 with construction targeted to begin in 2009.
